I want you to know that you will always be welcome and wanted in our services. The Winkler Road choir and music program is truly outstanding. The sermons you will hear will be from the inspired Word of God.

At the core of all we are and do is the Lord Jesus Christ. If you are seeking the Lord, we will be more than glad to point you to Him as He has revealed Himself in the Scriptures. If you already know the Lord as Savior, it is our desire that you will come to know Him in an even greater way through our traditional services.

Our message is simple. We preach the Lord Jesus Christ, and that He was Crucified, Risen, and Coming Again for all who trust in Him as their Saviour. Everything we do here has the same purpose; to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ. Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. (I Corinthians 10:31)

You will always receive a warm welcome here at Winkler Road Baptist Church. Our folks are friendly and dedicated to serving the Lord. Pastoral Staff

  Dr. Don Strange, Sr. Pastor

  Pastor Strange came to Winkler Road in 1986 from Lexington, Kentucky.  He is known for his humor and ability to make the bible come alive.  He and his wife, Judy have 4 children who are all married and have 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. 

 

 

  Robert Sutton, Associate Pastor

  Pastor Sutton came to Winkler Road in 1997 from Americus, Georgia.  He oversees the bus ministry, children's ministries and music program.  He and his wife, Kim, have 4 children and 7 grandchildren.

 

 

  Joe Calger, Youth Director

  Bro. Joe came to Winkler Road in 2006 after graduating from Bob Jones University.  In addition to working with the teens, he also helps with junior church and directs Vacation Bible School.  He and his wife, Sarah have one daughter.
